Arkansas Electrical Continuing Education Approved Course List

Continuing Education (CE) is a requirement of all electricians and inspectors licensed by the Arkansas Board of Electrical Examiners. The following electrical licenses are required to obtain 8 hours of approved CE every code cycle.

  • Master Electrician
  • Journeyman Electrician
  • Residential Master Electrician
  • Residential Journeyman Electrician

Electrical Inspectors are required to obtain 16 hours of CE every year. The CE requirements for Arkansas Electrical Inspectors are as follows:

  • Year 1 of Code Cycles
    • 8 Hours of Code Change
    • 8 Hours of Agency Sponsored Training
  • Year 2 & Year 3 of Code Cycles
    • 8 Hours of Agency Sponsored Training
    • 8 Hours of Inspector Training
