This course takes an in-depth look at some of the most important changes to the 2017 NEC. As changes in the code are not taken lightly by the NEC, it is important for electricians to stay up to date on these relevant changes to the industry. It was designed to educate Electricians on the changes implemented in the latest 2017 National Electrical Code. Throughout the course, changes to the code are outlined and compared to the standards of the 2014 NEC. The course covers all sections of the NEC. Where possible, the reason for the code changes will be explained along with a descriptive image aiding the understanding of the student. Learning Outcomes: After taking this course, the student will have a greater understanding of the newest codes as they apply to the installations they may be working on in the future. Since this course covers the most important changes out of every one of the chapters in the NEC, there is sure to be some useful information for any electrician who takes it, whether they are working on installations for public schools, private pools, residential homes or hospitals and anything in between.
