STEVEN J. OWEN has been active in the electrical industry for over 45 years. Starting as an Apprentice Electrician; working up to Superintendent, Project Manager, Electrical Engineer, Senior Electrical Designer and CHIEF ELECTRICAL CODE ANALYST. Steve has worked on projects ranging from one-person-operations to projects in which

he was responsible for the supervision of 550 electricians and an electrical budget of

25 million dollars.

Steve is certified as a National Electrical Code Instructor and Sponsor for (34 states – AL, AK, AR, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, KY, ME, MD, MI, MN, MS, MT, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SD, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WI , WY and numerous cities; Steve has been sponsoring and instructing seminars for ELECTRICAL LICENSE EXAM PREPARATION for numerous states. Steve has instructed for Bessemer State Technical College of Birmingham, AL. Steve is the OSHA Outreach Instructor for Electrical Standards OTI-3095 and EST-7005 NFPA 70E for Georgia Tech, Atlanta, GA, Steve has instructed for UAB - Birmingham, AL; SouthEastern Electrical Council; Lewellyn Technology, Linton, IN; (NTT) NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER, Denver, CO; NCSU – North Carolina State University; Steve is currently the President and primary instructor for NATIONAL CODE SEMINARS (NCS).
