Kevin Poche has been a part of the real estate industry as an attorney since 2012 and joined Delta Title in June 2017. Kevin has experience representing and advising clients in Collections, Contracts, Successions, Wills, and related business and transactional areas of legal practice. In addition to examining title, curing title defects, and conducting closings, Kevin enjoys creating and teaching continuing education classes for real estate agents. Kevin is also a Licensed Title Agent with the Louisiana Department of Insurance and a member of the Louisiana Land Title Association.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 2007, where he was named to the Dean’s List. He earned his Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Civil Law from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2010.
A real estate closing attorney who began her career in 2003, Carolyn joined Delta Title Corporation in 2009 where she examines title, cures title defects, and conducts closings for the Company's residential, commercial and REO transactions.
Carolyn, an experienced and often-requested lecturer on real estate property issues, is authorized by the National Association of REALTORS™ to teach the required “Quadrennial Ethics” coursework. and she is certified by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission to teach both Pre-Licensing and Continuing Education courses. Equally important, Carolyn is one of the fewer than 100 statewide instructors authorized to teach the LREC’s annual mandatory course.
In addition to her duties as an examining and closing attorney, Carolyn was instrumental in the development of "RESPA, The 2010 HUD and The New GFE," the Company's acclaimed seminar which focused on educating the mortgage and REALTOR™ segments of our industry on the new regulations effective January 1, 2010. Carolyn is recognized as an expert on these changes given her own research and attendance at several training seminars, and understands the importance of remaining informated about evolving industry best practices.
A member of Moot Court (2001 – 2003), Carolyn received her Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola University School of Law in 2003, and graduated from Louisiana State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in English. Upon graduation from LSU, Carolyn took a Staff Assistant position with Louisiana Senator J. Bennett Johnston's Washington D.C., office. In addition, Carolyn taught English at the High School level, earning a Teacher Certification in Curriculum and Instruction, Secondary English Education, from the University of New Orleans in 2000.
