Gregg Gothreaux

Since 1980, Gregg Gothreaux has focused on improving the quality of life for the citizens of Louisiana. A Louisiana native, Gregg received his BS degree from LSU in 1980. Gregg is also a graduate of Leadership Lafayette V and Leadership Louisiana. As President and CEO of the Lafayette Economic Development Authority Gregg has contributed substantially to the economic growth and stability of Lafayette, Acadiana and Louisiana through the organization’s role in retaining and attracting some of the area’s most influential businesses. His accomplishments have been highlighted by awards such as the Richard E. Baudoin, Jr. Award from the Acadiana Business Hall of Fame, the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Leadership Institute of Acadiana, the Lafayette Rotary Public Service Vocational Award, and the Greek Excellence Award for Theta Xi from LSU. Gregg was also named one of the 25 Most Powerful People on the Interstate Corridor by 10/12 Magazine in their spring 2009 issue. Gregg belongs to a number of professional organizations and has served as Chair of the Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association (LIDEA) and as a Board Member for Southern Economic Development Council. As an active member of the community, he serves on the board of several organizations such as Lafayette Central Park, Inc. and One Acadiana. Gregg and his wife, Alisa (LSU Law 1998), enjoy their job as parents to son, Conner Thomas, and daughter, Eliza Grace. In addition to his hard work throughout the community, Gregg is proud to be recognized as a certified Louisiana Master Gardener.

Ryan Pecot

Mr. Pecot graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He joined Stirling Properties in 2001. Ryan primarily focuses on the retail sector including both Landlord and Tenant representation. He currently represents national and local retail tenants as well as listing several Retail and Development Properties. He also provides Market Analysis and Strategy Consulting to all clients.

Todd Trahan

Mr. Trahan graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1984 with a degree in Economics. While still in college, Todd began working with his father, Cecil, in the real estate industry. He spent 20 years in Atlanta, before returning to Lafayette in 2006. Mr. Trahan and his brother Chad, started Trahan Real Estate Group in 2014.

Anita Begnaud

Anita is the CEO of the Downtown Development Authority and leads organization that facilities physical, economic, and cultural development of Lafayette’s downtown district. Pursues preservation and enhancement of its important place as the heart of Lafayette and Acadiana by working directly with city-parish government, business leadership, and developers to advocate for progress and market the region’s core.

Kate Durio

Kate Durio is an Assistant to Mayor-President, Joel Robideaux in Lafayette, Louisiana for the CREATE Initiative announced in 2017. CREATE representing Culture, Recreation, Entertainment, Arts, Tourism, Economy, is a comprehensive strategy to infuse creativity and cultural innovation into all city-parish efforts. In addition to CREATE, Kate works with the Mayor-President to improve downtown, smart city efforts and public spaces. Her program, Creativity Everywhere, won the Award of Excellence from the International Downtown Association and the Louisiana Cultural District of the year in 2014. Kate is on several boards and also co-founded ReCover Acadiana to tackle beautification and blight projects through collaboration or rogue action. She enjoys working to empower local neighborhoods; because she believes we should all do what we can, where we can, starting on our own block. Kate is an award-winning investigative journalist and has worked in Portland, Oregon and Lafayette.
