Fire Alarm Basics - 3 hour

This course covers the introduction to fire alarm systems and types. It covers the fundamentals and system requirements, the different types of devices and wiring methods used. We will be covering Articles 760, 770 and 800 of the NEC as well as NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code). There will be an exercise on blueprint reading and specifications as well as a hands-on portion in which the students will wire, program and test a system.Cost varies.
