Tom Hargreaves has been a senior field sales representative for Crouse-Hinds under Cooper and Eaton since April 1 1995. He has excelled at academics and problem solving his whole life culminating in gaining his Master’s Degree at the University of Tennessee. Previous to Crouse-Hinds he was a manager trainee at Grainger for 5 years where he was exposed to a broad range of industrial products. He is often flown to Eaton’s Syracuse and Houston training centers to be a presenter on hazardous areas and the products used in them. Tom has been a guest instructor on hazardous areas for the Iowa Electrical Apprenticeship every year since 1996. Tom has also been an approved CEU hazardous code instructor for the State of Nebraska since 1997; and in Iowa since 2009 (when the State started requiring CEU hours). These classes count as code hours which are harder to list a class for. Lastly he is often a presenter at code update meetings and reached out to by the state of Iowa electrical inspectors for his expertise. References available upon request.
