Ben Dowis

Ben Dowis is a licensed Associate Broker, Manager with Century 21 Elite in Shreveport/Bossier City, He is a LREC certified instructor. Ben is the owner and operator of Adams Real Estate Institute, located in Northwest Louisiana. Ben has been licensed in Louisiana Since 1988. Licensed as a broker in 1997 and has managed multiple offices both in and outside of the state of Louisiana. He obtained his instructor license in 2001, presenting courses in contract, agency, professional ethics, fair housing, The REALTOR code of ethics, Louisiana license law and rules and regulations. Ben is a member of the Northwest Louisiana Association of realtors, The Louisiana Realtors serving as the Region I VP 2017. Ben was born in Orlando, Florida he moved to Louisiana courtesy of the United State Air Force in 1981 where he served as an Instructor Defensive aerial gunner on B-52s. Ben is a graduate of the USAF noncommissioned officer's leadership school, The Instructor Training Institute and the recipient of the Jimmy L. Blackman military training award.

Curtis Wright



Curtis A. Wright, Sr. is a REALTOR® with the National Association of REALTORS® and a Realtist with the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) with over 19 years of real estate experience.


Curtis is the owner and broker of Curtropolis Realty Services serving seven Northwest Louisiana parishes in residential, commercial and investment properties. He is a Louisiana licensed instructor teaching continuing education, pre-licensing and post licensing real estate as well as first-time homebuyer training. He is a motivational speaker and the host and producer of a real estate radio talk show “Talk Real Estate with Curtis” in Shreveport, Louisiana on 1300AM, KSYB.


Curtis is an active member of the Northwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS® and twice served as association president in 2007 & 2011. He is the recipient of the prestigious Northwest Louisiana Association of REALTORS®, 2007 REALTOR® of the Year Award. His work at the state level of the Louisiana REALTORS® includes serving on the board of directors, the executive committee as Louisiana REALTORS® Division Director for Professional Conduct and is the Louisiana REALTORS® 2014 Secretary- Treasurer. He serves on the National Association of REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Committee.


Curtis is a 24 year veteran of the United States Air Force serving all over the world including the Vietnam conflict and Operation Desert Storm.


Curtis has been involved with Special Olympics, Toastmasters, Habitat for Humanity and volunteers to deliver fans and holiday meals to people throughout our communities.


Curtis enjoys playing racquetball, chess, pinochle and watching football and basketball.

Examples were good but hard to follow which case study he was discussing (page number, etc) he synopses so much was difficult to follow in pamphlet. More direct reference to laws (which ones and content ) would have been helpful. i am concentrating on land , preferably timberland so some was not appropriate.
