Ashley Coco is lead attorney and licensed title insurance agent of Commercial Services at Commerce Title & Abstract Company. Her specialty is commercial real estate, including transactions involving retail, single and multi-family housing, industrial development, as well as the petrochemical and financial services industries. Prior to joining Commerce Title & Abstract Company, Ashley’s practice included both residential and commercial real estate transactions as well as mortgage banking. She also served as a Site Office Liaison for Gulf Coast Claims Facility in relation to the Deepwater Horizon Water Spill.
Chase McCalip is an attorney and title insurance agent with Commerce Title. Chase has over 18 years’ experience handling commercial and residential real estate transactions, lender’s counsel work, and general business transactions
Niki Beeson is an attorney and a licensed title insurance agent with the Perkins Road office of Commerce Title & Abstract Company. The primary focus of her practice is transactional real estate, concentrating in both the residential and commercial realms.
Prior to joining Commerce Title & Abstract Company in 2001, Ms. Beeson was in general practice, devoting the bulk of her time to commercial transactional work, including choice of entity, contract review, finance, pension, health and welfare issues, as well as to commercial and real estate litigation. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1994 and went on to receive a Juris Doctorate degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 1997.
Ms. Beeson is admitted to practice in the State of Louisiana, and in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of the State of Louisiana. She is a member of the American, Federal, Louisiana and Baton Rouge Bar Associations and serves in various capacities for several community and charitable organizations, including the Junior League of Greater Baton Rouge, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge and Delta Gamma Fraternity. She is also a member of the Baton Rouge Independent Title Attorney’s Association, the Louisiana Land Title Association and the American Land Title Association.
Ms. Beeson has developed and instructed Louisiana Real Estate Commission sanctioned seminars for continuing education of licensed real estate agents on topics including Contracts, Fair Housing, RESPA, Louisiana Real Estate Commission Rules and Regulations, Ethics and Legal Liability, as well as annual courses on Recent Jurisprudential and Legislative Updates.
Louis Calvert Stone
L. Calvert Stone is an attorney and licensed title insurance agent in the Perkins Road office of Commerce Title & Abstract Company. He is also a licensed building contractor for the state of Louisiana and has extensive experience with Oil and Gas title work. He is the former General Counsel for a regional real estate developer.
Parker Marschall joined Commerce Title in 2015, focusing primarily on residential real estate transactions. Since then, he has been a regular collaborator on and presenter at LREC-approved continuing education courses for real estate brokerages throughout Greater Baton Rouge. In addition to teaching approved CEs, he has performed presentations to both new and experienced agents on wire-fraud, contracts, and the closing process in general. In the summer of 2018, Parker was appointed as manager of the new Commerce Title office on Bluebonnet Boulevard. He is a member of the Louisiana Land Title Association, Louisiana Association of Independent Land Title Agents, Baton Rouge Independent Title Association, LSBA, BRBA, and LACDL. A native of Baton Rouge, Parker graduated from Baton Rouge Magnet High School and attended LSU for his undergraduate degree and the Paul M Hebert Law Center for his JD and BCL. In addition to his professional affiliations, he serves on the Executive Board of the Baton Rouge Soccer Association and is a member of the Baton Rouge Ancient Athletes Society. Before joining the team, Parker worked as a trial attorney in Baton Rouge.
Ryan Falgoust is an attorney and licensed title insurance agent in the Prairieville office of Commerce Title and Abstract Company. The primary focus of his practice is transactional real estate, mainly focused on residential properties.
Ryan graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 2006. He received his Juris Doctorate and a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University-New Orleans in May of 2011. He is also a 2017 graduate of the Leadership Ascension program through the Ascension Parish Chamber of Commerce.
He is a member of both the Louisiana and Baton Rouge Bar Associations, the Louisiana Association of Independent Land Title Agents, and he is an active member of the Rotary Club of East Ascension.
Mr. Falgoust has instructed Louisiana Real Estate Commission sanctioned seminars for continuing education of licensed real estate agents as a supplement instructor on topics including Title Insurance, Recent Developments, Best Practices, and Insurance.
Sarah C. Thigpen is an attorney and licensed title insurance agent with Commerce Title & Abstract. She was licensed by the Louisiana Bar in 2010, and has experience in real estate, family, estate planning, estate administration, and business law. Sarah has represented clients in a variety of residential and commercial real estate transactions. In addition, Sarah has represented clients with complicated legal real estate issues such as partitions, community property settlements, interdictions, tutorships, and contested successions.
Walter L. Comeaux has been engaged in the practice of law for over 30 years. After graduation from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Walter attended Loyola University where he graduated in December of 1975. Following a brief practice in New Orleans he returned to Baton Rouge where his practice immediately became primarily engaged in the area of real estate. Thirty years ago he and his law partner formed Commerce Title. Over the years he has closed in excess of ten thousand real estate transactions whereby he has assisted sellers, buyers and lenders in understanding and implementing the terms of their contract.
