Course: 2017 NEC Electrical Code Change Highlights. Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sign-in starts at 7:30 a.m.[occasionally this class is taught in 2 4-hour installments as a Part 1 and Part 2 as described below]. Format: Lecture format using Power Point slides and in-class discussion of 2014 Code Changes using the Mike Holt “2017 NEC Code Changes” book. Text book: “2017 National Electrical Code” Instructor: Steve Arne: Certified Technical Educator, Licensed Electrical Contractor, Master Electrician, Licensed Electrical Inspector. Objectives: Provide a review of important Code Changes made by the 2017 NEC.
