Required Text: NECĀ© 2014 & 2017 Seminar Objectives: After completion of the seminar, the student should be able to: 1) Understand how an electric motor operates 2) Improved understanding of Article 430 3) Have a better understanding of how magnetism is used and its important role in motors 4) Understand how to size motors by Article 430 5) Understand how to calculate starter overloads 6) Understand how to calculate a multiple motor circuit 7) Review of Table 310.15(B)(16) and respective tables associated to this table.
